memories

So I was looking through my past photo albums, and I stumbled across the very first photo shoot I ever did with my best friend Lauren.  Looking at these pictures now makes me laugh because they are just so silly. It made me slightly nostalgic and I wanted to go back to those days when I didn’t have any worries. *sigh* Oh and.. 11 MORE DAYS ‘TIL I GO HOME! YIPPEE!

day ‘n night

Today I went to Barnes & Noble and stayed for like a full 4 hours reading magazines. Haha it was definitely light outside when I walked in and then when I came out, it was dark. It was very nice day, but I couldn’t get the fact that I had locked myself out of my room today : (. 2 destroyed bobby pins and 10 dollars later, I finally was let back in.

So this weekend, I decided to play around with my camera and try new things. Ha but of course, I always go back to my good ole’ mirror picture by the end.  And I after I took this, I just then noticed that my chipped nails would be captured as well. I have an extreme issue with peeling and scraping off my freshly pained nails.  I need help with that but otherwise, I like how the picture came out.

It’s been a loooong time since I have updated, but today I went into the city and happened across a lovely flea market. I bought 2 leather jackets for 30 bucks! Sweeeeeet deal (just the way I like it),  but the night before, I got this terribly unfortunate cut from a zipper on my jacket. It made that day difficult.. I was not happy.

P.S. I spy a size sticker on my dresser.. how exotic.

While looking wonderfully homeless, I stepped into the bathroom at the library.  I practically live in the library, so I thought this photo was necessary.  Oh, and please note the flip flops in rainy, 50 degree weather… I’m such a genius.

laaaa, la la la la laaaa…

So I get a little distracted when I’m writing papers. Listening to Elton John while I try to research theology was not a great decision.. Even though I was up terribly late, I got a few laughs to myself after taking these pictures and singing along to Crocodile Rock. Over the weekend I did something a little crazy.. I got my nose pierced!! I feel like such a college rebel. My parents don’t know yet so they’ll get a great surprise during the, way-to-short, Thanksgiving holiday.

I absolutely ADORE this look I stumbled onto of Keira Knightley.  I wish I could pull off the tights and shorts look (SO cute) The boots and the jacket are so cute and the tousled hair plus hat is the cherry on top of this stylish ensemble.

So today I was paid a visit from our favorite good ‘ol Aunt Flo!… Great.  But the musical stylings of miss Norah Jones and two of the most magical cramps-be-gone pills (advil) are making my busy homework day better. Yay for college work and womanhood!
